The University of California,
Irvine researchers found that after just six months of piano lessons,
preschoolers performed 34% higher on spatial-temporal testing that those
who received no training and those who received computer training.
Neurological Research, February 28,1997 Second grade students
who were given four months of piano keyboard training, as well as time
using math puzzle software, scored 27% higher on proportional math and
fractions test than children who received no special instruction. They
were also able to solve proportional math problems at the sixth grade
level.
Keeping Mozart in Mind College-bound seniors who had school music experience scored 52 points higher on the verbal portion of their SATs and 37 points higher in math (89 points combined) than those without arts instruction. The Beginner Level has been designed for those children who has not had any exposure to the piano instrument. At this level the very basics about the piano are introduced. This is done is a very strategic way, so as to not "scare" the child away from the piano. The piano is a very intricate instrument, with many details to its operation. When introducing a child to such an instrument special care must be exercised so as to not discourage the child away from learning it. At the Beginner Level,

At the Intermediate Level, you child is comfortable with the piano or has had previous exposure to the instrument. Children at this level will learn in much greater details the components stemming from the Beginner's Level as well as additional piano techniques. At the Intermediate Level,

These areas are taught using special methods especially formulated for children. This would enable them to more quickly grasp the concept & shorten the learning time. At the Advance Level,
your child has working knowledge about the piano. He or she is proficient
on how to play and read music well. The Advance Level, focuses on developing
